PROBLEM: Wars and crime have plagued humanity as far as humans have recorded history. What if there was a simple device that could end all wars? What if this device could also provide any individual complete safety from an attack involving any firearms, sharp objects or physical assault? SOLUTION: The Personal Safety Belt (PSB) could be that device. The PSB would be a small device that a person wears on their belt with two electromagnetic packs no larger than an AAA battery. The electromagnetic packs would emit a field around a person that would be completely impenetrable to any firearm, sharp object or physical assault. Since no human would have the ability to harm any other human, this could allow every person on the planet the freedom to live their life without the fear of personal attack or war. This could allow future military and security forces to use their expertise, precision training and power in primarily focusing on fighting the after effects of natural disasters such as tornadoes, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, floods, land slides and earthquakes. The future military forces could also battle plagues, hunger, poverty, poor health and poor hygiene by using their collective strength to provide relief and aid. Finally, the future military forces could help physically build up communities around the world to allow every human to have an opportunity to live a full and meaningful life and pursue their dreams. HOW THE DESIGN WOKS: Once a person puts the belt on and turns on their unit, the compact electromagnetic packs emit waves that shield and block against explosives and manual assault. The electromagnetic wave impulse would be designed to emit the forces away from the person to deflect outside forces but cause no harm to the individual wearing the device. The units would be thoroughly tested to ensure health, safety and reliability. All PSB devices would have to be registered in some way with the police, firefighters, paramedics, doctors and other security officials so that the field could be quickly shut off in an emergency situation. Ultimately, as with any security device, the use and prevention of misuse would still rest on the fact that most humans would have to use good judgment a majority of the time. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS: A comfortable and stylish elastic belt with hold the two electromagnetic packs in place. BENEFITS: This low cost device could provide the ultimate in personal safety for future generations. IMPROVEMENT ON THE MARKETPLACE: No such product exists. PRACTICAL APPLICATION: To device could be used by individuals in the community or while traveling. MARKETING POTENTIAL: Sell the device in electronic outlet stores. PRODUCTION COSTS: This device could be mass produced to make it affordable for all consumers. Special thanks to Aykut Altug, MS, mechanical engineer.
