This wind mill uses the low pessure around the vertical wing to move air through it's center and drive a turbine at the base. The moving parts are loacated in the base and are easily accessable for maintenance. The vertical wing can be made to withstand typhoons more economically than rotating wings. There is no worry about collisions with bats and birds.
