The global economical growth, the emergent markets quick development, the continuous increasing of traffic intensity, especially in the highly crowded urban zones and not at least the ascending evolution of technological possibilities of automotive manufacturers, are the main reasons for the increasing attention shown to the mini vehicles segment. Besides issues like reducing traffic congestion, pollution, fuel consumption, offering a good handling, it is more and more obvious that the interest of automotive industrial corporations is finding new opportunities on the market by launching new classes, new categories of vehicles. Is has been proved that the waste of resources is obvious by using heavier five seats cars for the transportation of one or two persons. This vehicle’s conception was motivated by the following demands: low fuel consumption; reduced dimensions; high comfort for two persons; good handling and dynamics; low manufacturing and maintaining costs; a wide scale of potential clients. This paper presents a concept which belongs to the mini vehicles segment. This project was made using exclusively 3D modeling software: Solid Works. The vehicle is a three-wheeler, with two seats and it has a compartment designated for light baggage in front. This vehicle has a back wheel drive that contains the engine and the gear box. The front wheels are for steering and has a tilting mechanism. These kinds of utility cars could be successfully used by expedition companies, post offices, catering firms, and distributors of newspapers, pharmaceuticals, some public institutions – police, gendarmeries officers, or small intervention teams in domains like: home services, plumbing, fixing. Due to the low width reporting to the height, is not possible to obtain a good stability for a conventional automobile, but for this concept, we implemented a side tilting system that affects the whole body when cornering. It is a hydraulic system commanded by an electronic regulator using a gyroscopic sensor that forces the automatic adjustment of the chassis position towards the front axle, so that the vertical symmetrical plane of the chassis contains the direction of the resultant between weight and the inertial forces (centrifugal) of the vehicle. The three-wheel system instead of four means small dimensions. The constructive simplicity besides using low density materials for many components as well as using a small dimension rotary spherical engine 1000 cm3 200 Bhp, connected to a continuous variable transmission CVT leads to a low weight and excellent dynamical performances for this type of vehicle. In addition to these attributes, lower fuel consumption will be obtained. Considering the fact that this light and handling vehicle has common characteristics of automobile and motorcycle, the perfect style line is to use an airplane shape design to emphasize the maneuverability and the result is a powerful positive visual effect. The result of the constructive solution presented is a small vehicle that combines the comfort and safety of a car with the agility and low width of a motorcycle, which among the obvious practical advantages provides the driver and passengers a unique driving experience.
