This is a proposal for an improved helicopter configuration. This helicopter is safer than a conventional helicopter due to its simplicity and independent redundancy for critical failure modes. It is less expensive than a conventional helicopter due to elimination of collective and cyclic pitch mechanisms, rotor flap mechanisms, gearboxes and long drive shafts.
