Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Alarm: Sleeping baby wears one of a pair of wireless oximeter baby bootees, while the other bootee is charging on the base station on the parent's night stand. Should the baby stop breathing, the charger-base station receives the lower oxygen percentage reading and sounds an alarm, waking the parents. The base station displays the oxygen level and pulse rate on a background-illuminated LCD panel.
