USA is a melting pot of various cultures. Several languages other than English is spoken / written all over in big cities. This situation is not just in USA, it exists in most developed nations.

Hybrid electric vehicles are often expensive and still use fossil fuels. Eventually there will be no choice but to turn away from fossil fuels in any case. Pure electric vehicles may leave you stranded if you try to go beyond their range. Increasing the battery capacity, also increases the weight, and power requirements. Most trips are still with one person per vehicle and in general we exercise too little and infrequently if at all. Grid
