Microwave radar signals penetrate dielectric construction materials. While there are existing radars for through-wall detection of concealed persons, they are impulse radars that use Ultrawideband pulses to record the range and bearing of reflections from concealed targets.

Every year fatal accidents occur while under water. In many instances the victim could have been saved if s/he were found and provided medical assistance immediately.
When the dive turns into a rescue effort, time is of the essence. In many instances, the people on the boat have no idea someone is in trouble until it is too late. The DiveBuddy system will significantly reduce this threat.
