Conveying dry material using a shaker assembly presents several challenges, not the least of which is trying to keep the frequency of the vibrator close to the natural resonate frequency of the material, where the most efficient transport of the material will occur. Most shaker systems in use today attempt to regulate the vibration by changing the motor speed, which means that the shaker spends most of its time outside of the material's natural frequency.

The electric solar wind sail, or electric sail for short, is a new,
revolutionary method for moving in deep space. The electric sail
promises to solve a long-standing problem how to move about in the
solar system without consuming much rocket fuel. The electric sail was
invented in Finland in 2006 as a byproduct of basic research of space
plasma physics, and is now being pursued by an international team
consisting of different groups mainly in Europe.
The electric sail consists of

Long-haul trucking on highways remains an important medium in transporting goods. While rail is more cost effective, trucks are flexible in providing fast door-to-door service. Improvements in fuel efficiency, an estimated 23 percent in the submitted design, will help in keeping the cost of truck transport to a tolerable level. It is achieved through improved aerodynamics and reduced rolling resistance in comparison to the best commercially available long-haul semi-trucks. No new materials are required and

PROBLEM:
Many people choose not to use public transportation due to the fact it is many times uncomfortable, personal safety is a concern, and it is inefficient.
SOLUTION:
The Personal Transport Pod (PTP) provides a low-cost solution to the energy crisis and the concerns over global warming.
HOW THE DESIGN WORKS:
The PTP blocks off one lane on major highways in major cities to install a light, overground rail system. Rather than everyone sharing a large compartment
